Medina Express Opticians was started with an aim to provide the people of Nottingham with the best quality eye care, and eyewear at competitive prices. Over the years we have increased our patient base more than ten fold and are continuing to grow.

We provide a full NHS eye test that fully assesses the health of the eye in order to ascertain whether the eye is healthy and fully functioning this is followed by a thorough investigation of your prescription.

We have a wide range of Spectacles with many designs and styles to choose from. Ranging from Elegant and stylish to wild and 'Out there' we have something for everyone in all shapes and sizes. We have a wide range of frames for children which start from free of charge with a NHS voucher, which is available for all children under 16. We have a huge range of NHS spectacles available for those who qualify as well as something to suit all tastes and budgets.

Spectacles with lenses that are coated with a hard coat or a multi-anti reflective coating are available these help prevent scratches and also reduce glare for night time driving. photochromatic lenses which become prescription sunglasses in day light are also available in a range of colours. Single Vision distance and reading spectacles can be made up to exact prescriptions whether you've had your eye test with us or elsewhere. Bifocal lenses which are fantastic for multi-use and the advanced Varifocal lenses which incorporate a gradual intermediate prescription are also available and will be explained fully when you come to visit.

We are currently based on Radford Road in Nottingham, We are approximately 1 mile away from Nottingham Victoria and City Centre. Located in the busy Hyson Green shopping area, which can be accessed via the tram, park and ride or bus routes or on a pleasant day we are based within walking distance of the City Centre. Local immunities include cafes, bars, restaurants, late night pharmacies as well as food stores.
